• FTR executive Producers Jim Shomos & Paul Baiguerra were honoured by Film Victoria in April 2004 with the Greg Tepper Award. It was a joint win with the creative team behind feature film hit, Kenny.

• Pony and Pepe are based on two friends of FTR creator Jim Shomos… if you get him really drunk he might tell you who they are. "Pony's inspiration loves it. he wants to run 'meet the real Pony tours'. Pepe’s inspiration is a bit more relaxed… but they’re funny guys and have an amazing dynamic between them… Pony is a walking storyboard. He calls me up and says 'Jim, time we had a drink, bring your notebook!" Lisa is a combination of two interesting and independent women who have small weaknesses – that’s why Lisa in the show is such a popular character she's very real"
